Living for Light

Oh ages ago I borrowed Al’s 5D. Think I borrowed his 70-200 2.8 as well. I wish I was independently wealthy.

I like squirrels. They’re cute.

The photograph is about 3 years old, and was taken on my first DSLR, a 350D and a great camera it was. The photograph has been through my Photoshop processing. I like the way the sky has morphed into something like a studio background.

This is from a dawn shoot in Malahide a few months ago.

I’m not generally a wildlife specialist and birds have a nasty habit of flying off. Someone once told me they found kitesurfers rather too hard to shoot. Well they are complete slowboats compared to birds across water sometimes.
