While I was at the beach this evening, with the help of a bunch of filters, I used the sun to light paint.

I discovered it was impossible to sign my name in under 1.3 seconds by waving a camera around. Efforts to sign my initial resulted in weird looking scribbles. One eventually looked like a musical note.

This one looked like I had channeled Newgrange or something. It was one of the few that was inside the frame of the photograph. Oh I have a bunch that might have been worth something if I hadn’t gone outside the box. When you can’t see the box, it’s pretty hard not to go outside it.

I had a go at re-extracting this from the RAW and am not quite that happy with it any more. It’s weird the way your opinion of a shot changes over the course of a day sometimes.
